Main Dining and Bar - The Village Cafe, Blowing Rock, NC The main building was built in 1907 using hand
hewed chestnut extensively for the interior. One interesting feature is a free standing fireplace, the largest in Blowing Rock.
Famed artist and writer, Elliott Daingerfield, had his studio on the second floor. Later, the building was used as a local
craft co-op, library, community club, and a summer home.
